MEDICINAL PLANTS AND PLANT MEDICINE February 22 - March 5
Some of us feel a bit stuck in our lives - or are simply looking for the next thing. Some of us are in the process of healing from past trauma. Some of us are looking for something different - to step out of our every day life. Some of us want to connect with like-minded others, to be able to have the connections and conversations that may be challenging to have in our every day lives.
Come spend 10 days with Shamans from the ancient lineages of the Amazon and of the Andes. Receive teachings and healings that will transform your physical and emotional bodies. “it’s like 10 years of therapy in a week!” CM 2017 Journey participant.
Visit sacred lakes, waterfalls, mountains and artisans' markets.
This workshop is designed to provide you with an opportunity to connect more deeply with yourself and to find insights and clarity about your path in this life through the powerful wisdom of ancient teachers. In this way, you also gain new ways of working with your clients.
We stay in beautiful ethnic hotels where we are served delicious healthy nutritious meals. Our pace is gentle to allow for rest, introspection and personal processing
Shamans, Curanderos, Medicine people do not read books about how to use plants. They learn from very young how to connect with the plants themselves and how to receive direct information from the flowers, trees and herbs that grow in their environment.
Accompanied and guided by Tatiana who has been an herbalist since childhood and by other yerberas (herbalists) we will learn how to connect with the spirit of the plants that we will encounter on our walks. We will then be given the information that our guides will provide about each plant. We will learn how to make tinctures and how to use them for both emotional and physical healing. We will also learn how to make incenses and how to best use them for clearing and for bringing in positive energy.
We will also have the opportunity to experience a Temazcal (sweat lodge) with Hachuma a heart opening plant medicine, receive the wisdom of the Ayahusca medicine and possibly participate in a Cacao ceremony.
We travel to the edge of the jungle to meet with the Mamallacta tribe, to the healing hot springs of the Papallacta Spa and to the Andes to visit shaman elders, receive their wisdom and personal healings.

Explore the role your mind plays in the course of your life as you uncover blocks and obstacles that may result from beliefs or decisions made in the past, or as a result of trauma. Sometimes, these beliefs and decisions prevent us—like a gatekeeper—from becoming the person we came here to be, living a full, free, vibrant, and happy life.
This program combines shamanism and Internal Family Systems (IFS) psychotherapy to help you recognize your obstacles and foster a new relationship with them. Bringing in new energy and understanding to improve creativity and achieve your soul potential, You will learn: - Shamanic techniques to meet your power animal and other spirit guides - How to work with the IFS psychotherapy system - Ways to connect with your gatekeeper and understand how it came to be. With these tools, you can supersede the beliefs your gatekeeper perpetuated with a new, affirmative narrative.
